Support Services for Students
There are a large number of support and information services for students and prospective students at TU Dortmund University. We would like to highlight a few offers here.
Writing Lab w.space
The Writing Lab offers a variety of courses on the topic of academic writing and presentation. The program includes writing language courses, writing seminars, workshops, short workshops, and various consulting formats, some of which are also offered outside of the lecture period. Registration for courses from 2024 summer semester program is open from March 1.

Writing Week 2024
Our university's Writing Week 2024 will start on Feb. 26, 2024. During this week, it is possible to put together an individual program to meet your own needs. Among the offers are lectures, work-act talks, writing groups, group and individual consultations as well as the general exchange with other students. Informational materials will also be provided in the Writing Week Moodle Room.

Events around talent scouting
In this event series, events about scholarships and scientific work will take place. On Feb. 27, 2024 TU Dortmund offers a lecture on the topic of scientific work. Students of all semesters who want to get or refresh basic knowledge can participate. This event is suitable if a term paper, Bachelor thesis or Master thesis) is pending. The event takes place online and no registration is necessary.

Lecture series and workshops of the Psychological Counseling Service
You can also find workshops as well as working and coaching groups on the pages of the Psychological Student Advisory Service. Topics include exam anxiety, procrastination, and dealing with uncertainty, stress, or procrastinating behavior.
