Dortmund University Library offers students many helpful resources and services. We give an overview of some of the most important and useful ones here. Whether you are looking for literature for research or projects, want to expand your digital skills, or in need of a suitable place to study, the University Library is a good place to start.
Service offerings include: Subject Guide Business and Economics
- Subject Guide for Business and Economics: Whether for a seminar paper or a thesis - the most important subject databases for your literature search and for company data are compiled here for you. Among the top databases for WiWi students are EconLit for VWL and Business Source Premier for BWL.
- Courses on literature search, Citavi, LaTeX: The University Library offers tours and courses to help you improve your literature search and become familiar with important tools such as Citavi and LaTeX.
- Learning Location Cadastre: To help you find the perfect learning space on and around campus, it's worth taking a look at this page. Of course, there is also an overview of learning locations in the UB itself.
For the study and also the time afterwards, the following resources are still particularly interesting:
- LinkedIn Learning: LinkedIn offers learning videos on various topics such as office and business software, programming languages and much more. Successfully completed courses can then be shown in one's own LinkedIn profile.
- Hybrid Learning Center (HyLeC).: Expand your key digital skills in workshops and as a self-learner. Take advantage of offerings to learn more about 3D printers, 3D scanners, laser cutters, virtual reality glasses, podcasting studio and more.
