Presentation of the Teaching Innovation Award 2018/2019

The student representatives of the Committee for Improving the Quality of Teaching have announced the winners of the Teaching Innovation Award 2018/2019 in the categories "E-Learning", "Internationalization" and "Practical Relevance". The awards went to:

For e-learning: JProf. Dr. Lars Metzger for the bachelor course "Microeconomics" (Moodle room with good support, extensive old exams, video tutorials, weekly schedule).
For internationalization: Prof. Dr. Tessa Flatten (photo with Corinna Gerleve) for the master course "New Product Management" (English-language event with heterogeneous, multilingual teams to develop a product launch strategy with diverse corporate partners).
For practical relevance: Dr. Martina Köster, StB for the Studium Fundamentale event "Income Tax of Students" (important tax aspects for students such as the basics of payroll accounting, social security (e.g. temporary jobs, working as a student assistant), income tax basics and the deductibility of expenses for a first degree).
