Presentation of the Teaching Innovation Award 2016/2017

The student representatives of the Committee for Improving the Quality of Teaching have announced the winners of the Teaching Innovation Award 2016/2017 in the categories "E-Learning", "Internationalization" and "Practical Relevance". The awards went to:

Prof. Dr. Martin Wagner und Mitarbeiter erhalten die Lehrinnovationsauszeichnung
For e-learning: Prof. Dr. Martin Wagner for the bachelor course "Statistik" (online tests with immediate comparison of the solution with changing tasks as an additional exercise)
Dr. Jörg Franke erhält die Lehrinnovationsauszeichnung
Also for e-learning: Dr. Jörg Franke for the bachelor course "Mathematik" (additional online offer of exercises beyond the normal scope)

For practical relevance: Prof. Dr. Andreas Liening for the Master's course "Modellbildung und Simulation in der Wirtschaftswissenschaft und Ökonomischen Bildung" (Modelling and Simulation in Economics and Economic Education; in the summer semester: management of a textile company; in the winter semester: business game from the perspective of a stockbroker).
