Questions About Your Studies
Many different questions can come up during your studies — about your study plan, exams, or organizational matters. Depending on your concern, different contact persons at the department and at TU Dortmund can help you.
Study Progress and Planning
If you have questions about your study plan, individual modules and course content, or the choice of competence or study profiles, the deparmental advisory service can help you. You can contact Dr. Jessica Donato by phone or email, or schedule an in-person appointment. This service is also available to minor subject students.
Exams, Recognition of Credits, and Formalities
If you have questions about examination regulations, recognition of credits, or important deadlines, you can contact the department’s formal academic advising service. Dr. Artur Bauder advises students by phone during the advising hours of the Office for Examination Matters or by email.
General Questions About Your Studies
Are you unsure whether you chose the right study program? Or do you have general questions, for example about semester re-registration or organizing your studies? For these and other questions, you can contact TU Dortmund’s Central Student Advisory Service.
Support from Other Students
Would you like to talk to other students about studying Business Administration and Economics?
If you are interested in the bachelor’s program in Business Administration and Economics or are currently in your first three semesters, the student advising service can help you.
The Student Council for Business and Economics is also a good point of contact for all our students. There, you can receive support from students in higher semesters — for example, if you have questions about exams, courses, or everyday student life.
