The department's Mentoring@WiWi program is entering its next round and invites all interested female students and researchers to apply by November 15, 2025. The program is aimed at female Bachelor's and Master's students, (post)doctoral candidates and (junior) professors and has the primary goal of promoting the academic careers of women.

At the heart of the program is support through so-called mentoring relationship tandems. Mentors and mentees are brought together through a careful matching process.

The Mentoring@WiWi program is divided into three core areas:

  1. Individual mentoring: in confidential one-to-one meetings, mentees receive support in the strategic planning of their academic career and benefit from the experience and networks of their mentors.

  2. Group meetings: Regular meetings enable the exchange of experiences and mutual support within their own peer group. Inspiring guest lectures by successful female scientists are a highlight.

  3. Financial support: Participants can apply for financial support, for example for conference trips, workshops or further training.

The application deadline is November 15, 2025.
