As part of the BMBF-funded research project Opt-IN (Opt-IN: Optimization of informational sustainability for citizens in data ecosystems), the junior professorship was represented with a research contribution at the international PACIS 2024 conference. On the topic of "Preparing the next generation for the IT-driven future", leading experts, researchers and specialists from all over the world came together to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the field of information systems.

Together with the Chair of Industrial Information Management (IIM), Estelle Duparc and Alexander Rogalla presented the paper "May the data be with you - exploring data-sharing incentives for users", which systematically summarizes the perceived incentives and concerns for data sharing.
