This study profile provides students with sound and practice-oriented knowledge to successfully manage companies and employees in an international environment and to operate in globalized markets.
Students can choose modules from the following areas:
Human Resource Management: Shaping future-oriented working environments through modern HR strategies. The focus is on personnel management and development, as well as health management. Current topics such as promoting innovation, resilience and new work are also addressed.
International Business: Theoretical and empirical findings on topics relating to urban, regional and international business. This includes the analysis of location factors and agglomeration effects, as well as the effects of the increasing fragmentation of global value chains.

Marketing: Deals with the successful positioning of products and services on the market and the development of sustainable customer relationships. Focuses on customer management and consumer research as well as the development and implementation of marketing strategies in an international environment.

Organizations and Management Trends: The focus is on the importance of universities in knowledge transfer and innovation promotion as well as diversity management in science and technology. The aim is to develop a better understanding of the precursors of innovation in international innovation ecosystems and the use of the potential of heterogeneous teams as a competitive advantage in global markets. Sustainability is strengthened through the integration of diverse perspectives.
Strategic Management: Deeper insights into various aspects of strategic management. These include, for example, the consideration of "multibusiness companies" with several business areas, including the implementation of innovation strategies in such companies. Other topics include modern management techniques and skills, negotiation strategies and diversity management.
Individual modules on digital transformation, entrepreneurship and digitalization, innovation management and technology management can also be selected in this area.
The strong focus on real business practice gives students a direct insight into current challenges and solutions in business and optimally prepares them for their career entry. At the same time, the program promotes the development of scientific skills by working with current research results and applying scientific methods.
