The article "The Double-Edged Sword of Entrepreneurial Orientation: A Configurational Perspective on Failure in Newly Public Firms", authored by TIE-members Bastian Kindermann, Corinna Schmidt, Jeldrik Pulm, and Steffen Strese has been published in Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.

The article shows that in the context of newly public firms, the effect of entrepreneurial orientation depends on a firm's resource allocation and industry factors. The findings suggest that under some circumstances, managers of such firms might be well advised to engage in less entrepreneurial approaches and need to develop a sense of the adverse impact of specific resource allocation approaches.
