Interview in Der Spiegel on the influence of language in start-up pitches and financing success

In an interview with DER SPIEGEL, Prof. Dr. Lorenz Graf-Vlachy was asked about his current study on the connection between cognitively complex language in startup pitches and the financing success of the respective startups.

He explained why cognitively complex language is a helpful signal to investors, giving them the good feeling that the pitching founders have really thought through their start-up and are aware of the complexity of their project.
