Awards for Research Publications at ECIS 2026 and SIGMIS CPR 2026

Research publications from the Professorship of Digital Transformation received awards at two international conferences in business informatics: At the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) 2026 in Milan and at the SIGMIS Computers and People Research Conference (SIGMIS CPR) 2026 in Flagstaff (USA), papers received a conference award at each event.

At the 34th European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) in Milan, Italy, a paper by Vincent Heimburg and Prof. Dr. Manuel Wiesche was awarded the Best Complete Research Paper Award – 1st runner-up:

At the 63rd SIGMIS Computers and People Research Conference 2026 in Flagstaff, Arizona (USA), a paper by Lisa Schned and Prof. Dr. Manuel Wiesche was honored with the Magid Igbaria Outstanding Conference Paper Award:
