The article "Crossover of Resources within Formal Ties: How Job Seekers Acquire Psychological Capital from Employment Counselors" by Dr. Corinna Schmidt and Prof. Tessa Flatten has been published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior.

Dr. Schmidt and Prof. Flatten show that employment counselors who possess the positive resource of psychological capital (i.e., hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism) provide emotional support to job seekers during their regular meetings. This support, in turn, enables job seekers to develop psychological capital themselves, which helps reduce their perceived stress.
