Study start 2026

We're ready to go, April marks the start of the lecture season this summer semester!

You can look forward to the start of your studies - an exciting new time is about to begin.

We would like to accompany you from the beginning in the best possible way and therefore provide you in the coming months in a special Moodleraum with regular information about pre-courses, the O-phase, (central) counseling services etc.

 

Important dates in the coming weeks:

March 23-27, 2026: Precourse in Mathematics (Bachelor)
The course page will be updated shortly. The preliminary course will take place in a hybrid format.

March 30 -  April 03, 2026: Precourse in Econometrics (Master)
The course page will be updated shortly. The preliminary course will take place in a digital format.

April 02-17, 2026: Registration for "Business English" (Module 2)
Early registration within the specified deadlines via the Foreign Languages course platform is mandatory in order to be able to complete the language proficiency test in the summer semester.

April 09 OR 10, 2026: Orientation Phase
The orientation phase will take place in person. Registration is possible from March 16 to April 05 via Moodle and is mandatory.

April 13, 2026: Master's Welcome by the Faculty
The joint event by the Student Council and Faculty Management provides information on the course of study, examination matters, etc. It will take place at 12:00 PM in Room 1.024 of Seminar Room Building I.

April 13, 2026: Start of Classes
The courses of the summer semester begin on April 13. The timetable will be created with the help of the Student Council during the orientation phase.
