Welcome JProf. Dr. Tim Heubeck!

JProf. Dr. Tim Heubeck has held the position of Junior Professor of Management and Leadership at TU Dortmund University since March 1, 2026. He joined TU Dortmund University from the University of Bayreuth, where he completed his doctorate in 2023 and subsequently served as an assistant professor at the Chair of International Management.

His research examines how strategic leadership and governance structures can be designed effectively under conditions of increasing uncertainty. His scholarship integrates four interrelated themes: strategic leadership and corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, dynamic managerial capabilities, and the organizational implications of digital transformation and emerging technologies. Methodologically, he primarily conducts quantitative research using both archival (secondary) and primary data, complemented by literature reviews.

His work has been published in leading international peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Business Ethics and Business Strategy and the Environment. In 2025, he co-published the coursebook “Internationales Management” with Prof. Dr. Reinhard Meckl. He regularly presents his research at major international conferences. His research has been recognized in 2024 with the research award of the University Association Bayreuth for outstanding academic achievements.
