Department congratulates graduates!

The celebration was opened by warm words of welcome from the Dean of the department, Professor Dr. Steffen Strese. The Dean's congratulations were followed by Dr. Bernhard Günther, energy manager and member of the Supervisory Board at ThyssenKrupp AG. In his speech, he gave the graduates wishes and advice from his many years of experience for their future careers. The graduates also received greetings and congratulations from the department's student council, represented by Mr. Tim Köpke, who was celebrating his own graduation that evening.

This was followed by the central point of the evening's program, the ceremonial presentation of the certificates to the proud Bachelor and Master of Science students by the Dean of Studies of the department, Professor Dr. Manuel Wiesche.

Finally, the deparment's Alumni Club, represented by the Chairman of the Board, Mr. David Baumeister, and Ms. Sophie Charlotte Jeiter, Head of the Alumni Office, invited the graduates to remain connected to the department by becoming members. The ceremony was accompanied by upbeat music from Eddie Arndt of Rawsome Delights.

At the reception that followed, those present had plenty of opportunity to network and exchange ideas. Many graduates also took the opportunity to take souvenir photos in front of the departmental logo and with their certificate in hand.
