Greetings from Vieste!

Seven students and two doctoral candidates from our department took part in the Erasmus Blended Intensive Program on "Accounting for Sustainable Transition" at the University of Foggia. They were accompanied by Prof. Christiane Pott from the Chair of International Accounting and Auditing.

The program started back in May with online events and then took the participants to Vieste on the Italian coast for an intensive five-day stay. In addition to the group from our department, professors and students from the following universities also took part:

  • Prof. Elisabetta Mafrolla (University of Foggia, Italy)
  • Prof. Karen Maas (Erasmus Univ. Rotterdam, Netherlands)
  • Prof. Maria Del Mar Miras Rodríguez (Univ. Sevilla, Spain)
  • Prof. Leif Atle Beisland (Agder Univ., Norway)
  • Prof. Susan Smith (UCL, United Kingdom)
  • Prof. Gianfranco Siciliano (CEIBS, China)

In addition, industry experts and practitioners enriched the program. The stay was funded by Erasmus+. We hope that the participants found the event a success and gained exciting insights.
