In our recent "Introduction to Entrepreneurship" lecture, we had the privilege of welcoming two guest speakers to share their unique entrepreneurial stories: Ronja Weidemann for the project Phosfad and Maximilian Spiekermann for Simplyfined.

Both speakers took us behind the scenes of their ventures, offering candid insights into their individual entrepreneurial journeys.

Ronja Weidemann presented Phosfad, an innovative venture born at TU Dortmund that is developing a new recycling process for phosphate. Her story was a powerful example of how scientific research can translate into a real business idea.

Maximilian Spiekermann shared his experience building Simplyfined, a green-tech startup focused on turning nature into next-generation chemistry. By unlocking the potential of plant-based raw materials to create high-quality, bio-based platform chemicals, Simplyfined offers a sustainable alternative to fossil resources in the chemical industry.

The presentations sparked a dynamic discussion about the ventures and the diverse paths an entrepreneurial journey can take. The students were inspired by the passion and resilience of both founders.
Thank you, Ronja and Maximilian, for sharing your experiences and motivating the next generation of entrepreneurs at TU Dortmund. We wish you both continued success on your journeys!
