  • In their paper "From Data to Theory: The Use of the Grounded Theory Methodology in Entrepreneurship Research" Simon Hensellek, Giuseppe Natale and Manuel Wiesche analyze the application of the Grounded Theory Methodology (GTM) in entrepreneurship research and its impact on the generation of new and extension of existing theories.
  • "How are entrepreneurial theories such as effectuation, causation, and bricolage practiced in the digital environment?" by Giuseppe Natale and Simon Hensellek explores discrepancies as well as commonalities between theories from entrepreneurship research and their application in practice.
  • The paper "How can they help? The role of bricolage and start-up coach characteristics for opportunity identification and exploitation, start-up success" by Omar Garcia Urdiales, Simon Hensellek and Michael Flad examines the role of bricolage and coach characteristics on opportunity identification and exploitation, as well as on start-up success.
  • In their paper "Digital prototyping: Scale development and validation", Simon Hensellek, Giuseppe Natale and Julius de Groot develop a scale to measure the use of digital prototyping in companies, which will subsequently be validated through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
