Participation in the 21. International Conference on Design Science Research in Information Systems and Technology (DESRIST) 2026 in Münster.

A group photo of three people standing next to a large, orange-to-pink gradient banner in a foyer. The banner reads "DESRIST 2026" in large letters and promotes the "21st International Conference on Design Science Research in Information Systems and Technology" taking place from June 8-10, 2026, in Münster. To the left of the banner stands a woman with long, light hair, wearing a white short-sleeved top with eyelet embroidery and a dark skirt. To the right of the banner stand two men: the one on the left wears glasses, a light blue button-down shirt, jeans, and a brown belt; the one on the right is the man from the first image, wearing a dark blue sweater over a white shirt and light trousers. All three are wearing conference name badges around their necks and are smiling at the camera. In the background, glass double doors lead outside to greenery, and a table with a monitor is visible on the left edge of the image. © Mingyuan Li

The chair participated in the 21st International Conference on Design Science Research in Information Systems and Technology (DESRIST) 2026 in Münster. Oliver Dinand and Dana Hofmann each presented their publications.

Oliver Dinand presented his paper, which was developed in collaboration with Vincent Heimburg and Manuel Wiesche:
Dinand, Oliver & Heimburg, Vincent & Wiesche, Manuel. (2026). Generative AI in Knowledge Management: Designing a GenAI Chatbot for Tacit Knowledge Externalization. https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-032-28313-9_9

Dana Hofmann presented her publication, which was developed in collaboration with Kay Hönemann and Manuel Wiesche:
Hofmann, Dana & Hönemann, Kay & Wiesche, Manuel. (2026). From Passive Consumption to Creative Engagement: Designing and Evaluating Scaffolded Augmented Reality Authoring. https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-032-28313-9_10

The presentations, workshops, and discussions provided many valuable experiences and insights, and we were able

A photograph taken from the audience's perspective in a brightly lit lecture hall. In the center, a man with dark curly hair and a beard stands at a white lectern. He is wearing a dark blue ribbed sweater over a white shirt, light trousers, and a lanyard with a conference name badge. He is looking to the left, over the audience, and gesturing animatedly with both hands raised, holding a black presentation clicker in his right hand. A laptop and a gooseneck microphone are on the simple lectern. In the blurred foreground, the backs of two audience members and rows of brown wooden benches are visible. In the background, there is a green chalkboard and a brightly lit white projection screen. © Official DESRIST Photo

A shot from the perspective of an audience member in a lecture hall, showing a woman giving a presentation. She stands on the right side of the image at a white lectern, looking intently down at her laptop, wearing the same white eyelet top as seen in the group photo. Above her, a large presentation slide is projected onto a screen. The slide is titled "From Passive Consumption to Creative Engagement - Designing and Evaluating Scaffolded AR Authoring" and lists the names Dana Hofmann, Kay Hönemann, and Manuel Wiesche along with their email addresses below. Behind the speaker is a wide green chalkboard, and in front of it is a table holding a projector. In the foreground, the brown wooden seating rows of the lecture hall are visible, occupied by a few audience members whose backs and shoulders are out of focus. © Oliver Dinand/TU Dortmund
