Participation in the 16th International Conference on Software Business (ICSOB 2025)

The image displays a group photo of three individuals standing side-by-side indoors, likely at an academic conference or symposium. They are positioned in front of a dark grey display board holding a research poster with the partially visible title "Fighting apps with apps: Analyzing tools for digital minimalism." The person on the left is a man with short, dark curly hair and glasses, wearing a dark grey sweater with thin horizontal stripes. In the center stands a woman with long, straight brown hair and glasses, dressed in a light-colored striped blouse and tan trousers. On the right stands a man with reddish-blond hair and glasses, wearing a dark button-down shirt and a white FFP2 face mask covering his nose and mouth. All three individuals are wearing blue lanyards with conference badges around their necks and are looking directly at the camera. The background reveals the architecture of a spacious hall featuring high white columns and a large wall of glass-paneled doors or windows, looking out into a darker area. A small portion of a white high-top table is visible in the bottom right corner of the frame. © Kay Hönemann/TU Dortmund

We gained many exciting experiences and insights from the presentations and discussions and were able to make new and interesting contacts.

The image captures a presentation taking place in a bright conference room with high ceilings and wooden flooring. In the center, a large projection screen displays the title slide of a presentation. The slide features the logo of "tu technische universität dortmund" in the top left corner and the "dt Digitale Transformation" logo in the top right. The title reads "Design Principles for IT-Driven Circular Economy Initiatives (Short Paper)" in green text. Below the title, smaller grey text indicates "ICSOB 2025 | 16th International Conference on Software Business." The authors, Kay Hönemann and Manuel Wiesche, are listed at the bottom with their TU Dortmund email addresses. To the left of the screen stands a male speaker with dark hair and glasses, dressed in a black sweater and dark trousers. He wears a white lanyard around his neck, holds a presenter remote, and is gesturing while looking towards the audience. In front of the screen is a light wooden table holding an open laptop, various cables, two small speakers, water bottles, and glasses. On the left wall, there are large windows and white wall-mounted speakers. © Lisa Schned/TU Dortmund
