Visiting Scientists from Sarajevo and Kumasi at TU Dortmund University

International Scientists as Guests at the Professorship of Digital Transformation

This summer, the Professorship of Digital Transformation Chair hosted Professor Amra Kapo from Sarajevo and Dr. Kwateng from Kumasi.

Professor Amra Kapo conducts research in the field of Information Systems, with a particular focus on the topics: E-learning, technology-enhanced learning and econometric analysis.

In cooperation with Professor Kapo, the Professorship for Digital Transformation hosted a Research Talk, a PhD course, and a guest lecture for Master's students. In addition to the professional program there was a trip to the Zollern Colliery industrial museum.

From the visit, much valuable could be gained for the professional cooperation as well as the social cohesion within the European scientific community. Promoting these values and growth on many levels is the goal of the Erasmus+ program.

Dr. Kwateng is doing research in the field of Information Systems, especially focusing on the topic of Supply Chain Information Systems. The focus of his current project is on "Differences in IT Security Perceptions between Europe and Africa", which he further developed together with the team of the chair within the RER Explorer Ruhr at TU Dortmund University. A trip to the Zollern Colliery industrial museum rounded off the visit.

Dr. Kwateng stay enabled the gain of much valuable for the professional cooperation as well as the social cohesion within the global IS scientific community.
