Book Contribution on Digital Nomadism

Together with Natalia Puchala, JProf. Dr. Simon Hensellek examines the young phenomenon of "digital nomadism" in the recently published article.

The study examines digital nomads and their lifestyle, which essentially combines work and travel, on the basis of four facets: digital work, flexibility, mobility, and identity and community. In addition to a comprehensive analysis and definition of the term, the team of authors also highlights research on the topic as well as potential opportunities and risks of digital nomadism for individuals and society.

The article has been published in the Springer series Human Resource Management (HRM) in the book "The Flexible Workplace - Coworking and Other Modern Workplace Transformations" edited by Marko Orel, Ondřej Dvouletý and Vanessa Ratten.
